Elena Zaurino

I am an economist at the Joint Research Center of the European Commission in Ispra (Italy) in the unit Economic and Financial Resilience. 

My areas of research include international trade, industrial organization and innovation with a focus on global value chains.

I received my PhD in Economics from KULeuven in 2021 where I was part of the IO group. Prior to this, I obtained a  B.A. and a M.Sc. from Bocconi University.
